    SIRS (Social Issues Resource Series)
    A great place to research current hot topics and to gain information for pro vs. con term papers and/or debates.

    *There is no password needed to access SIRS. You will have instant access to this database available from school. If a User ID and password are required, please consult the posters in the library computer lab or see the librarian.
    FirstSearch is a megadatabase that is great for research. You are able to search one, two or three databases at one time. You are able to seach for articles from journals in ArticleFirst. ECO is a collection of scholarly journals. ERIC is a database that collects journals articles specific to the field of education. GPO allows you to search government publications. MEDLINE is a great place to look for anything medical-related. You are also able to search papers, proceedings and dissertations.

    *You will need an authorization and a password to log on. These will be located on the poster in the library computer lab. If you need help logging on, please see the librarian. You should be able to log on and use this at home, too!
